Thanks for sharing the scans. One positive aspect of Ploog’s artwork from Man Thing is how he works the story’s title into the artwork of the initial splash page, a la Eisner.
You’re welcome, Phil. There’s more where that came from (at least for a while). I think Billy Graham used to do the same trick of making the logo part of the drawing, back when he drew the Black Panther.
