1. Comments now seem to be working again….

2. Problems continue; we seem to have lost some comments, and we can’t post or update.

   Tech people are working on it, and hopefully some or all of this will be worked out shortly. My apologies for the troubles….

3. We continue to be unable to post; going on a full week now. We are posting on tcj.com as a stopgap. Or you can follow us at the old blogspot address here.

4. Also, our comments haven’t been restored.

   Does anybody remember the comment where Matthias talked about not “reading” images? Is it still here somewhere? Kim Thompson posted this:

   Some cartoonists would argue that actually the whole purpose of successful cartooning is specifically to NOT give readers too “much to look at” because if you’re looking at comics you’re not reading them.

   over on Tom Crippen’s post about Crumb on the main site, and obviously it’s relevant for our discussion last week; I wanted to throw it back to Matthias but I can’t find where he made that comment.

5. Also it appears that recent comments do not appear in the “recent comments” sidebar item. They do appear in the comments feed, though.

6. They seem to show up eventually. It’s just on some sort of delay.

   That’s the least of our problems at the moment, alas.

7. Caro, you know more about all of this stuff technically than I do: any idea what could be taking them so long to fix this?
